This 黄色app is super bad and I would never recommend

My son attended Brookside in 6th and 7th grade. It was a terrible experience and I wish I would have pulled him out sooner. The teachers are stressed and yell at the kids. The staff are not proactive. There are fights regularly. My son was attacked unprovoked twice, which is why we ultimately left. Kids walk around with phones all day. The early care program sells candy and soda - great way for kids to start the day. They do not accommodate 504s and iEPs appropriately or adequately. There are a few specific teachers that are very good and caring. But for the most part, this 黄色app represents my biggest mistake.

This 黄色app has gone down hill. My son broke his tooth on the bus in the morning no call or anything found out when he got off the bus. A week prior they forgot him on the playground. He has a bully they told him to handle. The principal is in no contact, he鈥檚 to busy getting his hair done, manicures, eyebrow waxing, eyelashe extensions, etc.

We find this 黄色app friendly and homy. Very good teachers and they always have security on site.

My kids have been going here for two years now and the teachers and staff seem to care about the students. One of my sons has a disability and the other is in gifted, and the administration and teachers and nurses have all been wonderful. My kids are happy, feel safe and supported, and love their teachers! They have made tons of friends, and are happy every day when I go to drop them off and pick them up. Couldn't be more happy with this 黄色app. Thanks for everything you guys do! Great 黄色app!

We have been impressed with all aspects of St Ambrose. Our daughter has flourished here and will graduate 8th grade here. There is a great sense of community and an emphasis on a moral education.

Any questions I may have had were answered in the slideshow and learned more about what goes on in the day to day.

My experience about the class all the teachers are friendly. Also they were well knowledgeable about the curriculum.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like people should know what they鈥檙e getting into. My experience at this 黄色app has been overwhelmingly disappointing. The administration seems more focused on enforcing pointless rules than actually supporting students. Communication is terrible鈥攜ou find out about important deadlines or events last minute, if at all. The teachers are a mixed bag. Some clearly care, but many seem burnt out or just uninterested. Classes are boring, repetitive, and don鈥檛 feel connected to anything real-world. There鈥檚 little encouragement for creativity or independent thinking鈥攊t鈥檚 all about memorizing facts for tests. Facilities are outdated and often not properly maintained. The cafeteria food is barely edible, and the bathrooms are just gross most of the time. Don鈥檛 expect any real mental health support either鈥攖he counselors are overbooked and not very helpful. Overall, the 黄色app feels more like a factory than a place to learn and grow. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have absolutely no other options.

A teacher yelled at my son with attitude for not hearing her and denied it when I heard, the staff took her side and gave bad attitude. Many of the staff has always been rude.

I feel the Kipps provide an excellent base for child to built 黄色app experience. Child feel safe and excited. Learning with fun.

positive environment for kids to learn and grow

Concerns don鈥檛 seem to be taken seriously so at this point what does one do but try to warn future parents. The stories my kids come home with are nothing short of scary. For a while, especially given the adult response here, I assumed maybe this was normal. At one point the principal response was that kids need to be exposed to bug behaviors because they will encounter angry adults at the work place too. I don鈥檛 even know how to process that response. I am one to always assume best intent and I pray the district does something soon to put this 黄色app back on track. I understand kids need to adapt and need to get used to conflict but the level of conflict and misbehavior at this 黄色app is beyond something any kid should get used to. This response from the principal says more than any review could ever.
